Pour cream style corn over ground beef, paired with 2 simple ingredients, into the slow cooker for a comforting meal that’s my default when I don’t know what to make. Creamy, hearty, and incredibly easy for busy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker.
  2. Add ground beef and break it apart evenly.
  3. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread frozen hash browns over the beef.
  5. Pour cream style corn evenly on top.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top during the last 15 minutes.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Serving Suggestions

  • Add chopped green onions on top
  • Pair with a fresh side salad

Tip: Brown the ground beef before adding it to the slow cooker if you want extra flavor and less grease.
