Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

This incredibly easy slow cooker chicken recipe delivers juicy, tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. With just a few ingredients, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or potluck dinners.

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Arrange the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the honey and minced garlic.
  3. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the chicken.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place small pats of butter on top of each chicken thigh.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  7. Once the chicken is tender and fully cooked, spoon the sauce over the top.
  8. Serve hot with rice, potatoes, or vegetables.

Optional Additions

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
