Slow Cooker Ranch Chicken Thighs
These juicy bone-in chicken thighs cook low and slow in a rich, savory ranch sauce, creating a tender, flavorful dinner with almost no effort. Just a few pantry ingredients and your slow cooker do all the work while you’re away.
Ingredients
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth around the sides of the slow cooker.
- Place the butter slices on top of the chicken thighs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- For crispier skin, transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes before serving.
- Spoon the cooking juices over the chicken and garnish with parsley if desired.
