Slow Cooker Ranch Chicken Thighs

These juicy bone-in chicken thighs cook low and slow in a rich, savory ranch sauce, creating a tender, flavorful dinner with almost no effort. Just a few pantry ingredients and your slow cooker do all the work while you’re away.

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth around the sides of the slow cooker.
  4. Place the butter slices on top of the chicken thighs.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. For crispier skin, transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes before serving.
