Creamed Corn Beef Casserole

This old-fashioned comfort casserole combines seasoned ground beef, creamy corn, and a few simple pantry staples for a hearty family dinner that’s easy to prepare and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) ground beef
  • 2 cans (14.75 oz each) creamed corn
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread the raw ground beef evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the diced onion, onion soup mix, and black pepper over the beef.
  4. Pour the creamed corn evenly across the top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and return to the oven for 10–15 minutes.
  7. Bake until the beef is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Optional Additions

  • 1 diced green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
