Gloria’s Creamy Chicken Bake

A rich, creamy chicken casserole made with tender chicken pieces baked in a flavorful cheese sauce. This comforting family meal is easy to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the chicken pieces evenly in the baking dish.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, paprika, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chicken and stir gently to coat.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Optional Additions

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooked bacon bits
  • Diced mushrooms
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
