Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops
Tender bone-in pork chops slowly simmered with sweet apples, warm cinnamon, and a rich brown sugar sauce. This comforting recipe delivers the perfect balance of sweet and savory, making it an ideal family dinner for cool evenings.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 3 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, sliced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
- Arrange the sliced apples in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the pork chops on top of the apples.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the pork chops and apples.
- Top with slices of butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the pork is tender.
- Carefully spoon the apples and sauce over the pork chops before serving.
