Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops

Tender bone-in pork chops slowly simmered with sweet apples, warm cinnamon, and a rich brown sugar sauce. This comforting recipe delivers the perfect balance of sweet and savory, making it an ideal family dinner for cool evenings.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
  2. Arrange the sliced apples in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Place the pork chops on top of the apples.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the pork chops and apples.
  6. Top with slices of butter.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the pork is tender.
  8. Carefully spoon the apples and sauce over the pork chops before serving.
