Crispy Ranch Chicken Bake
This easy baked chicken dinner features juicy chicken pieces coated with ranch seasoning and topped with a buttery herb stuffing mix that bakes into a golden, crispy crust. It’s a simple comfort meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into large pieces
- 1 (6 oz) box chicken-flavored stuffing mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the chicken pieces evenly in the baking dish.
- Season with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Cover the chicken with the dry stuffing mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the stuffing.
- Pour the chicken broth around the edges of the baking dish without disturbing the topping.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 15–20 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
