Buttery Baked Egg Noodles

This simple comfort-food side dish combines tender egg noodles, rich chicken broth, and plenty of butter for a creamy, satisfying casserole that pairs perfectly with chicken, beef, or pork.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) egg noodles
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the dry egg noodles evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Pour the chicken broth over the noodles.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  6. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
  7. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes if desired.
  10. Serve warm.

Optional Additions

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
