3-Ingredient Beef Stew Noodle Casserole
3-Ingredient Beef Stew Noodle Casserole
My dad lived off this genius pantry meal during his college years because it took almost no effort. Just three simple ingredients transform into a hearty, comforting casserole that easily feeds a crowd.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (24 oz each) beef stew
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles until just barely tender; drain.
- Place the noodles in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the canned beef stew and beef broth.
- Stir gently until everything is evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish or disposable foil pans.
- Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve with buttered bread or dinner rolls.
- Add a side salad for a complete meal.
- Sprinkle with black pepper before serving.
Tip: If the casserole seems thick before baking, add a little extra beef broth. The noodles will absorb some of the liquid while cooking.
