3-Ingredient Beef Stew Noodle Casserole

My dad lived off this genius pantry meal during his college years because it took almost no effort. Just three simple ingredients transform into a hearty, comforting casserole that easily feeds a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (24 oz each) beef stew
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles until just barely tender; drain.
  3. Place the noodles in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the canned beef stew and beef broth.
  5. Stir gently until everything is evenly combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish or disposable foil pans.
  7. Cover tightly with foil.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with buttered bread or dinner rolls.
  • Add a side salad for a complete meal.
  • Sprinkle with black pepper before serving.

Tip: If the casserole seems thick before baking, add a little extra beef broth. The noodles will absorb some of the liquid while cooking.
