Mother’s Day Glazed Potatoes
These buttery glazed potatoes are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a rich savory-sweet sauce. With only a few simple ingredients, they make the perfect comfort-food side dish for any family dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900 g) Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the cubed potatoes in a large baking dish.
- Pour the melted butter over the potatoes and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the potatoes.
- Pour the chicken broth into the baking dish.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil, stir gently, and continue baking for 20–25 minutes until the potatoes are golden and tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Optional Additions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh black pepper to taste
