Mother’s Day Glazed Potatoes

These buttery glazed potatoes are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a rich savory-sweet sauce. With only a few simple ingredients, they make the perfect comfort-food side dish for any family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the cubed potatoes in a large baking dish.
  3. Pour the melted butter over the potatoes and toss to coat.
  4. Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the potatoes.
  5. Pour the chicken broth into the baking dish.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil, stir gently, and continue baking for 20–25 minutes until the potatoes are golden and tender.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Optional Additions

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh black pepper to taste
