Slow Cooker Garlic Herb Chicken Thighs
These tender chicken thighs slowly simmer in a savory garlic-herb broth, creating a comforting family dinner with minimal preparation. The chicken becomes incredibly juicy and flavorful after hours in the slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Arrange the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix, garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper over the chicken.
- Pour the chicken broth evenly into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Cook until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Carefully remove the chicken and spoon some of the cooking juices over the top before serving.

- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 diced onion
- 1 cup baby carrots
- Fresh parsley for garnish
