Slow Cooker Chicken & Cabbage

Slow Cooker Chicken & Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 small cabbage (cut into wedges)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place cabbage wedges at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Place chicken on top of the cabbage.
  4. Add garlic if using.
  5. Pour chicken broth over everything.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

Important Tips:

  • Do not overcook to keep chicken juicy.
  • Cabbage will become very tender and flavorful.
  • Add butter for richer taste.
  • Use spices like paprika for extra flavor.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve with rice
  • Serve with bread
  • Add lemon juice before serving
