Beef Gravy Potato Casserole
Pour savory beef gravy over sliced russet potatoes for a cozy, old-fashioned casserole that is simple, filling, and perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups prepared beef gravy
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the dish.
- Top with half of the sliced onions.
- Pour over half of the beef gravy.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, onions, and gravy.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 60 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 20–30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is lightly browned.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve alongside roast beef, pork chops, or grilled chicken.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese during the last 10 minutes for a cheesy version.
