Baked Beans and Hamburger Patties Casserole
Pour sweet baked beans over raw ground beef patties, alongside 3 ingredients, into a glass baking dish for a savory meal that’s always a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs (680 g) ground beef
- 2 cans (15 oz each) baked beans
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Divide ground beef into 4–6 large patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the patties in a glass baking dish.
- Scatter sliced onions around and between the patties.
- Mix baked beans with Worcestershire sauce and pour over the meat.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 45–55 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked.
- Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes for a thicker sauce.
- Serve hot with bread, mashed potatoes, or rice.
Serving Suggestions
- Add shredded cheddar cheese during the final 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve with cornbread or a green salad.
- Top with chopped parsley or green onions.
