Baked Beans and Hamburger Patties Casserole

Pour sweet baked beans over raw ground beef patties, alongside 3 ingredients, into a glass baking dish for a savory meal that’s always a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs (680 g) ground beef
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) baked beans
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Divide ground beef into 4–6 large patties and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the patties in a glass baking dish.
  4. Scatter sliced onions around and between the patties.
  5. Mix baked beans with Worcestershire sauce and pour over the meat.
  6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 45–55 minutes, until the beef is fully cooked.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes for a thicker sauce.
  8. Serve hot with bread, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Serving Suggestions

  • Add shredded cheddar cheese during the final 5 minutes of baking.
  • Serve with cornbread or a green salad.
  • Top with chopped parsley or green onions.
