3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Spareribs
Dump a whole rack of spareribs in your slow cooker with 3 simple ingredients and even the pickiest eater will ask for seconds.
Ingredients
- 1 rack pork spareribs (about 2–3 lbs)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 can (12 oz) cola soft drink
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
Instructions
- Cut the rack of ribs into sections that fit inside the slow cooker.
- Stand the rib sections upright around the edge of the slow cooker as shown.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the ribs.
- Pour the cola and barbecue sauce over the ribs.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
- Carefully remove the ribs when tender and falling off the bone.
- Optional: Brush with extra barbecue sauce and broil for 3–5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
- Serve hot.

- Serve with coleslaw and cornbread.
- Pair with baked potatoes or macaroni salad.
- Add extra barbecue sauce for dipping.
