Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Sandwiches
Pour chicken broth over chicken breasts, along with these 2 simple ingredients, into the slow cooker for a sandwich filling that’s always a yes in my house. Tender, juicy shredded chicken packed with flavor and perfect for easy meals.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sandwich buns for serving
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Add diced onions around the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth over everything.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- Shred chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker.
- Mix well with the juices before serving.
- Spoon onto sandwich buns and serve warm.

- Top with provolone or mozzarella cheese
- Serve with potato chips or fries
- Add pickles or coleslaw for extra flavor
