4-Ingredient Ground Beef and Rice Casserole
Savory Comfort: Just 4 ingredients. My uncle cooked this incredibly hearty bowl to feed the whole family on a dime.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened.
- Transfer beef and onion mixture into a casserole dish or slow cooker.
- Stir in uncooked rice and beef broth.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, or cook on low in a slow cooker for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Serving Suggestions
- Top with shredded cheese
- Serve with crusty bread
- Add steamed vegetables on the side
Tip: Add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
