4-Ingredient Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

Savory Comfort: Just 4 ingredients. My uncle cooked this incredibly hearty bowl to feed the whole family on a dime.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  3. Transfer beef and onion mixture into a casserole dish or slow cooker.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice and beef broth.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, or cook on low in a slow cooker for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.

Serving Suggestions

  • Top with shredded cheese
  • Serve with crusty bread
  • Add steamed vegetables on the side

Tip: Add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
