Sausage and Potato Bake

Sausage and Potato Bake (Easy Comfort Dinner)

Ingredients:

  • 4–5 cups baby potatoes (halved)
  • 2 cups smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (optional)
  • Salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place potatoes, sausage, and onion in a baking dish.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  5. Mix everything well.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden.
  8. Stir once halfway for even cooking.

Important Tips:

  • Cut potatoes evenly for proper cooking.
  • Use smoked sausage for better flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Add cheese on top in last 10 minutes (optional).
