Sausage and Potato Bake (Easy Comfort Dinner)
Ingredients:
- 4–5 cups baby potatoes (halved)
- 2 cups smoked sausage (sliced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic (optional)
- Salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place potatoes, sausage, and onion in a baking dish.
- Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Mix everything well.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Stir once halfway for even cooking.
Important Tips:
- Cut potatoes evenly for proper cooking.
- Use smoked sausage for better flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Add cheese on top in last 10 minutes (optional).
