Slow Cooker Soy Sauce Beef

A simple and flavorful dish where tender slices of beef are slow-cooked in a rich soy-based sauce. This easy recipe delivers deep, savory flavor with minimal effort—perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) beef, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup dark soy sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

Place the sliced beef into the slow cooker.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic over the beef.

Pour the dark soy sauce evenly on top.

Add the brown sugar and broth to balance and deepen the flavor.

Season with black pepper.

Gently mix everything together.

Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the beef is tender.
