Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa Cake (Steel Magnolias)

🍍🍒 Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa Cake
The famous Southern dessert from Steel Magnolias —
so easy you don’t even need a recipe card. Just cups, love, and a warm oven ❤️
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fruit (fruit cocktail, crushed pineapple, or pineapple & cherries)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: pinch of salt or splash of vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8–9 inch baking dish or pie plate.
- Spread fruit evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour and sugar together.
- Sprinkle dry mixture evenly over the fruit.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Serving Tip: Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
