Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken & Noodles

This comforting dish is the definition of simple, homemade goodness. With just a few ingredients, you get tender chicken, soft noodles, and a rich buttery broth that feels like a warm hug after a long day.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles (dry)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Place the chicken into the slow cooker and pour the chicken broth over it. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours (or high for 3–4 hours) until the chicken becomes very tender.

Remove the chicken, shred it using two forks, then return it to the slow cooker.

Add the dry egg noodles and the cream of chicken soup. Stir everything together gently.

Place the butter on top and cover again. Cook for another 30–45 minutes until the noodles are soft and the sauce becomes creamy.

Result

You’ll get soft, flavorful noodles coated in a creamy sauce with juicy shredded chicken throughout. The butter adds richness, making every bite smooth and satisfying.

Tips

  • Add garlic or onion powder for extra flavor
  • Sprinkle parsley on top before serving
  • Serve with bread or a simple salad
