Slow Cooker Tender Beef with Vegetables
Ingredients:
- 1 kg beef roast
- 3 carrots (cut into chunks)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (optional)
Instructions:
- Place onions and carrots at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season the beef with salt and black pepper.
- Put the beef on top of the vegetables.
- Add garlic if using.
- Pour beef broth over everything.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours.
- Serve hot with the juices and vegetables.
Important Tips:
- Cook on LOW for best tenderness.
- Do not open the lid during cooking.
- Let the meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- You can add potatoes for a complete meal.
