Slow Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal
Wake up to a warm, hearty breakfast with this easy Slow Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal. Rolled oats slowly cook with juicy blueberries, milk, and a touch of maple syrup to create a creamy, comforting meal that’s perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 4 cups milk (or half milk and half water)
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of a slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
- Add the rolled oats and frozen blueberries.
- Pour in the milk and stir in the maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the butter on top if using.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or until the oats are tender and creamy, stirring once if possible.
- If the oatmeal becomes too thick, stir in a little extra milk before serving.
- Serve warm with additional blueberries, chopped pecans, walnuts, sliced bananas, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
