Slow Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal

Wake up to a warm, hearty breakfast with this easy Slow Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal. Rolled oats slowly cook with juicy blueberries, milk, and a touch of maple syrup to create a creamy, comforting meal that’s perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 4 cups milk (or half milk and half water)
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of a slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Add the rolled oats and frozen blueberries.
  3. Pour in the milk and stir in the maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add the butter on top if using.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or until the oats are tender and creamy, stirring once if possible.
  6. If the oatmeal becomes too thick, stir in a little extra milk before serving.
  7. Serve warm with additional blueberries, chopped pecans, walnuts, sliced bananas, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
