Ingredients

  • 1Β½ lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size cubes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Optional: splash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Pat steak bites dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and herbs.
  5. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Optional: add a small splash of soy or Worcestershire for extra depth.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Tip: Don’t overcrowd the pan β€” cook in batches for the best sear.
