Fluffy Condensed Milk Bread Recipe
Fluffy Condensed Milk Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 240 ml (1 cup) warm milk
- 75 g (¼ cup) condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 30 g (2 tablespoons) sugar
- 7 g (2 ¼ teaspoons) dry yeast
- 520 g (4 ¼ cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 50 g (¼ cup) softened butter
- 45 g (3 tablespoons) melted butter
- 45 g (3 tablespoons) whole milk
Method:
1. Prepare the Yeast Mixture:
Begin by heating the milk, condensed milk, and sugar in a saucepan until just warm. Remove from heat and stir in the dry yeast and egg, ensuring everything is well combined.
2. Mix the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
3. Knead the Dough:
Knead the dough by hand or with a stand mixer until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Add the softened butter and continue kneading until fully incorporated. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Shape the Bread:
Once risen, divide the dough. Roll out ⅓ of the dough into a rectangle (25×40 cm), then roll it into a log. Slice the log into even pieces. Arrange the pieces into a prepared loaf pan, leaving some space between them. Repeat this process with the remaining dough.
5. Final Rise:
Let the shaped dough rise for an additional hour until doubled in size again.
6. Bake:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Before baking, brush the tops of the loaves with an egg wash. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. The bread should bake evenly, with a light and fluffy texture.
7. Finishing Touches:
While the bread is still warm, brush the tops with a mixture of melted butter and whole milk for a soft, glossy finish.
8. Cool and Serve:
Allow the bread to cool completely on a wire rack before removing from the pan. Enjoy the delicate, fluffy texture and rich flavor of this homemade treat!
