Ingredients
- 8 slices sandwich bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or both)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or onion powder
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place bread butter-side down in a skillet.
- Add cheese, cooked beef, then more cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread (butter-side up).
- Cook on medium-low until golden and cheese is fully melted.
- Flip carefully and toast the other side.
- Serve hot and extra gooey 😋
💡 Tip: Cover the pan for 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese perfectly without burning the bread.
