βA sweet Amish treat that even the pickiest eaters canβt resist!β π
Ingredients
- 2 lbs carrots, sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey (optional but recommended)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Add sliced carrots to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, honey, salt, and cinnamon.
- Pour mixture over carrots and stir gently.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4β5 hours or HIGH for 2β3 hours.
- Stir once halfway through cooking.
- Serve warm with the thick, glossy glaze.
