Million Dollar Lasagna 🧀🍝
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook meat: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, sausage, and onion. Cook until browned. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Make sauce: Stir in marinara sauce and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix cheese filling: In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, and Parmesan. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble layers: Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the dish. Add noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Cool & serve: Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley.
