  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup apples, peeled and diced

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix oil, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in diced apples (do not overmix).
  6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  7. Mix cinnamon and sugar for the topping and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.
