🍎 Warm Baked Apple Fritters

Soft, fluffy, and bursting with juicy apple flavor — these baked fritters bring back all the nostalgia of grandma’s kitchen. Sweet glaze on top makes them irresistible!

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

🍯 Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (adjust for thickness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin or mini bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients just until blended (don’t overmix).
  4. Fold in the diced apples gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Spoon batter evenly into the prepared pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. While fritters cool slightly, whisk together glaze ingredients. Drizzle over warm fritters and let set for a few minutes before serving.
💡 Tip: These taste best warm! Try adding a pinch of apple pie spice or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
