Vintage Red & Green Nougat Candy

Description: A nostalgic Christmas favorite! Soft, chewy white nougat filled with festive red and green jelly pieces.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup red and green gummy or jelly candy, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a small loaf pan or square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and white chocolate together.
  3. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla (optional).
  5. Gently fold in the red and green jelly pieces.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or until fully set.
  8. Slice into bars or squares and serve.

Notes & Tips

  • Use any soft gummy candy — red and green for the classic Christmas look.
  • Store in the refrigerator to keep the texture firm.
  • White chocolate burns easily — melt on low heat only.
