Ultimate Chocolate Cream Cake

🍫 Ultimate Chocolate Cream Cake

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1¾ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup hot coffee or hot water

🧁 Cream Filling

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

🍫 Chocolate Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil and mix well.
  4. Slowly stir in hot coffee or water.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake 35–40 minutes.
  6. Cool completely, then slice cake horizontally.
  7. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and whipped cream.
  8. Spread cream between layers.
  9. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache.
  10. Drizzle over cake, chill, and serve.
Pro Tip:
Chill the cake for 2 hours before serving for cleaner slices and richer flavor.
