🍎 Warm Baked Apple Fritters
Soft, fluffy, and bursting with juicy apple flavor — these baked fritters bring back all the nostalgia of grandma’s kitchen. Sweet glaze on top makes them irresistible!
🧾 Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2/3 cup milk
 - 2 large eggs
 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 - 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

🍯 Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
 - 2 tablespoons milk (adjust for thickness)
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin or mini bundt pan.
 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
 - In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Combine wet and dry ingredients just until blended (don’t overmix).
 - Fold in the diced apples gently until evenly distributed.
 - Spoon batter evenly into the prepared pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
 - Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
 - While fritters cool slightly, whisk together glaze ingredients. Drizzle over warm fritters and let set for a few minutes before serving.

💡 Tip: These taste best warm! Try adding a pinch of apple pie spice or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
