Texas Trash Dip

Texas “Trash” Dip

Don’t let the name fool you — this creamy, cheesy dip is always a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage or ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 small can diced green chilies
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground meat in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in cream cheese until fully melted.
  4. Add sour cream and green chilies. Mix well.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.
