Texas Trash Dip

Texas “Trash” Dip
Don’t let the name fool you — this creamy, cheesy dip is always a crowd favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage or ground beef
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 small can diced green chilies
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground meat in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in cream cheese until fully melted.
- Add sour cream and green chilies. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.
