Tender Slow Cooked Beef Roast

This slow cooked beef roast is incredibly tender and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3–4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

2. Season the Meat

Rub the beef roast with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

3. Prepare the Pan

Place the roast on a foil-lined baking tray and sprinkle the onion soup mix on top.

4. Add Broth

Pour the beef broth around the roast to keep it moist while cooking.

5. Roast

Cover loosely with foil and cook for about 3 hours until the meat becomes tender.

6. Serve

Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with the juices.
