A rich, hearty pasta bake inspired by a popular steakhouse favorite.
Loaded with seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, savory tomato sauce, sweet corn,
and a generous layer of melted cheese — just like the restaurant version everyone loves.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or egg noodles)
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce or marinara
- 1/2 cup canned corn (optional but recommended)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
- Add garlic and ground beef; cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, corn, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes to build flavor.
- Mix cooked pasta into the beef sauce.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top evenly with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
