Southern Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake


🍓 Southern Strawberry Punch Bowl Cake

A classic Southern dessert layered with cake, pudding, fruit, and whipped topping.
Sweet, creamy, and perfect for gatherings or family celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 (6 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen strawberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Bake the yellow cake according to package directions in two round cake pans.
    Allow cakes to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the vanilla pudding and refrigerate until cold and set.
  3. Cut one cake layer into small chunks and place them in the bottom of a punch bowl.
  4. Spread half of the pudding over the cake pieces.
  5. Add half of the crushed pineapple, one package of strawberries, one sliced banana,
    and half of the Cool Whip. Spread evenly.
  6. Repeat the layers using the remaining cake, pudding, pineapple, strawberries,
    banana, and finish with Cool Whip on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight before serving for best flavor.
Tip: For extra flavor, thaw strawberries slightly and add a little juice between layers.
