🥧 Southern Pecan Praline Bread
Rich, buttery, and loaded with toasted pecans — perfect for breakfast, dessert, or “just one more slice.”
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1½ cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into prepared dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
- Cool slightly before slicing — it firms up as it cools.
