🥧 Southern Pecan Praline Bread

Rich, buttery, and loaded with toasted pecans — perfect for breakfast, dessert, or “just one more slice.”

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour batter into prepared dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and set in the center.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing — it firms up as it cools.
