  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 large ziplock bag
  • Peanut oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large ziplock bag, combine the flour, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley, thyme, adobo seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shake the bag thoroughly to mix the ingredients.
  2. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until well combined.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the buttermilk mixture, ensuring an even coating. Then, place the chicken into the ziplock bag with the flour mixture and shake until the chicken is fully coated.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken on a wire rack and let it rest for at least 15 minutes. This step allows the coating to adhere better during frying.
