Slow Cooker Creamy Rice Pudding
Just pour one simple mixture over raw rice, turn on your slow cooker, and let it transform into the coziest winter treat.
Warm, creamy, lightly spiced, and absolutely comforting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup raisins (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker.
- Add uncooked rice evenly to the bottom.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in raisins if using.
- Pour the mixture over the raw rice.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2½–3 hours, stirring once or twice if possible.
- Cook until rice is tender and mixture thickens into a creamy pudding.
- Serve warm with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.
