Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
This easy 5-ingredient pepper steak is packed with tender strips of beef, colorful bell peppers, and sweet onions simmered in a rich, savory sauce. It’s the perfect hands-off dinner for busy weeknights—just toss everything into the slow cooker and let it do the work.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
- 3 bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced beef into the slow cooker.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onion over the beef.
- Whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
- Stir well before serving.
- Serve over steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered egg noodles.
