Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

This easy 5-ingredient pepper steak is packed with tender strips of beef, colorful bell peppers, and sweet onions simmered in a rich, savory sauce. It’s the perfect hands-off dinner for busy weeknights—just toss everything into the slow cooker and let it do the work.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
  • 3 bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced beef into the slow cooker.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion over the beef.
  3. Whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the beef and vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
  6. Stir well before serving.
  7. Serve over steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered egg noodles.
