Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi – A Gourmet Delight

Indulge in the flavors of this copycat Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi, a seafood dish that brings the restaurant experience right to your home. With its tangy, garlicky, creamy, and slightly spicy notes, this recipe is perfect for treating yourself or delighting your family with a gourmet meal.

The rich broth is particularly irresistible when paired with crusty homemade bread, allowing you to savor every drop. The key to this dish is cooking the shrimp briefly to maintain their freshness and avoid overcooking. After a quick sautƩ, they are removed while the flavorful sauce is prepared. Once the broth reaches perfection, the shrimp are reintroduced to warm up and absorb the flavors.

This dish is perfect on its own with bread, but for those who want a heartier meal, it can also be served atop freshly cooked pasta.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon pure olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups white wine (Chardonnay recommended)
  • Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Heat a cast iron skillet and add the olive oil.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook until tender and no longer translucent. Reduce the heat, remove the shrimp, and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and sautĆ© for 2-3 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t brown to avoid bitterness.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and allow it to cook until reduced by half. Once reduced, add the Italian seasoning.
  5. Lower the heat and add the butter, making sure the pan isnā€™t too hot to prevent separation.
  6. Return the shrimp to the pan, stir in the parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Finish by sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese over the top.

This elegant, flavorful dish is a surefire way to impress at the dinner table! Whether served with bread or pasta, itā€™s a recipe youā€™ll want to make time and again.
