The quickest way to make a baked potato in just minutes!
Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked, and fluffy on the inside.
🧾 Ingredients
- 2–4 medium russet potatoes
- Olive oil or butter
- Salt (to taste)
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives
👩🍳 Instructions
⚡ Microwave + Oven Method (Fastest & Best Texture)
- Wash and scrub the potatoes. Pat dry.
- Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork.
- Microwave on high for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway, until mostly tender.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rub potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Place directly on oven rack or on foil and bake for 10–15 minutes until skins are crispy.
🔥 Optional: All-Oven Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rub potatoes with oil and salt.
- Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 45–60 minutes.
- Unwrap for the last 10 minutes for extra crispy skin.
