The quickest way to make a baked potato in just minutes!
Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked, and fluffy on the inside.

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2–4 medium russet potatoes
  • Olive oil or butter
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, cheese, chives

👩‍🍳 Instructions

⚡ Microwave + Oven Method (Fastest & Best Texture)

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes. Pat dry.
  2. Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork.
  3. Microwave on high for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway, until mostly tender.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Rub potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  6. Place directly on oven rack or on foil and bake for 10–15 minutes until skins are crispy.

🔥 Optional: All-Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rub potatoes with oil and salt.
  3. Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 45–60 minutes.
  4. Unwrap for the last 10 minutes for extra crispy skin.
