🍕 Pizza Pie
The perfect blend of pizza and pie — packed with seasoned ground beef,
melty cheese, and bold toppings inside a rich, buttery crust.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup sliced pepperoni
- ½ cup sliced bell peppers or olives
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 prepared pie crust (or pizza dough)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook onion until soft.
- Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
- Stir in pizza sauce and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Press pie crust into a greased baking pan.
- Layer beef mixture, cheese, and toppings evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
