Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites with Fig Honey Glaze

🧀 Ingredients

For the Brie Bites:

  • 8 oz (225g) Brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Fig Honey Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons fig jam or preserves
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, chopped pistachios, and parsley (if using).
  2. Coat each Brie cube lightly in flour, then dip into the beaten egg, and roll in the breadcrumb-pistachio mix until well coated.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry Brie bites for 30–45 seconds per side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine fig jam, honey, and balsamic vinegar. Warm gently over low heat until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Drizzle the warm fig-honey glaze over the Brie bites and sprinkle with extra pistachios and thyme.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and gooey inside!
💡 Tip: For a lighter version, bake the coated Brie bites at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes or air-fry until golden.
