- 1 packet green jelly, prepared and set
- 1 Swiss roll or sponge cake, sliced
- 1 tin (360g) caramel treat
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 1 Peppermint Crisp bar, crushed
- Custard (optional, for extra creaminess)
π§ Instructions
- Prepare the green jelly and allow it to set completely, then cut into cubes.
- In a trifle bowl, layer slices of sponge cake or Swiss roll at the base.
- Add a layer of jelly and, if using, spoon some custard over it.
- Mix the caramel treat with whipped cream and crushed Peppermint Crisp chocolate.
- Spoon the caramel-cream mixture over the cake and jelly layers.
- Repeat the layers until the bowl is full, finishing with the caramel mixture on top.
- Sprinkle extra crushed chocolate and mint leaves for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.
