Peppermint Crisp Trifle Delight

🍰 Ingredients

  • 1 packet green jelly, prepared and set
  • 1 Swiss roll or sponge cake, sliced
  • 1 tin (360g) caramel treat
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 1 Peppermint Crisp bar, crushed
  • Custard (optional, for extra creaminess)

🧁 Instructions

  1. Prepare the green jelly and allow it to set completely, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a trifle bowl, layer slices of sponge cake or Swiss roll at the base.
  3. Add a layer of jelly and, if using, spoon some custard over it.
  4. Mix the caramel treat with whipped cream and crushed Peppermint Crisp chocolate.
  5. Spoon the caramel-cream mixture over the cake and jelly layers.
  6. Repeat the layers until the bowl is full, finishing with the caramel mixture on top.
  7. Sprinkle extra crushed chocolate and mint leaves for garnish.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor and texture.
💡 Tip: For an elegant touch, drizzle a bit of melted chocolate around the rim before layering.
