Oven-Baked Garlic Butter Pork Chops
Juicy, tender, and packed with rich garlic butter flavor, these Oven-Baked Pork Chops are an easy family dinner that’s ready with minimal effort. Baked over sliced potatoes, this comforting one-pan meal is sure to become a favorite.
Ingredients
- 6 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the sliced potatoes in an even layer in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
- Place the pork chops over the potatoes and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 15–20 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the potatoes are tender.
- For extra browning, broil for 2–3 minutes before removing from the oven.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
