🥔 One-Pan Fried Potatoes & Onions

“My husband has been making this for over 10 years…
If it’s cooked in one pan, it disappears immediately.
If it’s in two pans, it’s gone by lunch the next day!”

This is the ultimate comfort side dish — crispy golden potatoes,
caramelized onions, and smoky bacon all cooked together in one pan.
Simple, rustic, and absolutely addictive.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs baby potatoes, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter or oil.
  4. Add potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add onions and continue cooking until soft and golden.
  6. Return bacon to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Cook for another 3–5 minutes until everything is crispy and fragrant.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Serving Tip:
Serve with eggs for breakfast, grilled meat for dinner,
or enjoy it straight from the pan — no judgment 😄
