Mississippi Mud No-Bake Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies or graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding (prepared)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup crushed cookies or toffee bits (for topping)
  • Chocolate chunks or bars, chopped
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the crust.
  4. Layer prepared chocolate pudding evenly on top.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the pudding layer.
  6. Sprinkle crushed cookies/toffee and chopped chocolate over the top.
  7. Finish with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving.
Tips & Variations:
• Add chopped pecans for a Southern twist.
• Swap chocolate pudding for fudge or brownie pudding.
• Best served cold for clean slices and maximum flavor.
